After a brief time in Austin, I began practicing with my brother Michael in San Marcos in 1979. This relationship has continued to the present. My practice has gradually come to focus primarily on the drafting of wills, premarital agreements, and other estate planning documents, and on the administration of decedents' estates. I have, however, also continued to handle mediations and certain personal injury, criminal, and business law matters.

My volunteer activities in recent years have been with Scouting on the unit, district, and council level.
